Verascope No. 7b, vintage camera - all round view at 10° intervals.
The Verascope is a fabulous precision creation. The workmanship is akin to a gunsmith, and looking at it, you'd have to think that such an artisan had an influence. Here the camera is removed from its plate magazine and sat atop it. As the camera rotates you will see inside, note the filter holders behind the lenses. The lenses aren't coated, the colour is from the blued steel shutter guillotine. The case in the background is open revealing the alternative roll film magazine. Even this tatty example of the Verascope is beautiful. Start the image spinning by putting your cursor over the "Spin" side of the image, you can pause the animation in any position by touching the "Pause" side.
