Thornton
Pickard Quarter Plate Camera, vintage camera - all round view at 10° intervals.
The camera is shown here focussed at infinity whereas the main entry shows it racked out to double extension for close focus work. As the camera rotates you will see the tripod lugs underneath, the front and rear focus pinions and the mechanisms that allow film plane and lensboard tilt. The external mechanism of the Thornton Pickard roller blind shutter is reasonably visible too. Start the image spinning by putting your cursor over the "Spin" side of the image, you can pause the animation in any position by touching the "Pause" side.
