Aerial View of Houses of Parliament

The Retina III has proved to be reliable in use although the exposure meter needs to be treated with some caution, in bright conditions (such as this) it suggests far to small a stop. I simply ignore it and do my own thing. This is Parliament in Westminster, London. Looking at the hideous block of flats behind it makes me cringe that planning permission could ever had been granted!

Tower Bridge

A little further east along the river Thames is the famous Tower Bridge - now raised electrically, rather than by the Victorian steam engines that originally did the job.

A picture of this same scene 50 years earlier can be seen on the Kodak Box Camera Pages.
