The compactness of the Vito B makes it an ideal camera for cycling trips, where space and weight are an issue. This picture was taken somewhere in Scotland during a ride from John O'Groats to Land's End in August 1987. Sorry to be so vague, but I had other considerations on my mind, Like another 800 miles to go! This holiday was characterized by wind, rain and a strangely sore part of my anatomy that interacts with the saddle. Bala Lake, North Wales in August 1988. Another cycle tour, this one characterized by food poisoning! The stories I can tell about this holiday are very much outside the level of taste of this site! |

The same image above scanned again in 2018. The Canon scanner is duller than the old Minolta. The film stock was Fuji 200 and the longish exposure has rather picked up the grain. |
