Kodak Retinette 022, 35mm camera, c1954

The Retinette series was first introduced in 1939 to compliment the Retina range first introduced in 1934. The Retinette developed along the folding route until this, the model 022 introduced the first rigid variant in 1954. The Retinettes were aimed at a wider market, and had cheaper shutters and lenses, but they were good cameras for all that. This one was bought and donated by my good old mum in 1999.
