The next three frames are devoted to Netley Abbey ruins, which can be found at Netley, Hampshire. Ruins have a strange fascination for me, it's virtually impossible for me to pass any without wanting to look around them. Staircases in particular, where you can see the wear caused by countless footsteps, that go nowhere but a gaping hole open to the sky. |

Winchester Cathedral, Hampshire. Despite very careful composing this image in the waist level finder, I still managed to cut the top off the building and ended up with more grass in the foreground. The finder must be considered to be inaccurate for some reason. In all other aspects the camera gives excellent results. | |
