The Ensign Commando is a bit of a hefty lump, but hard not to like. Turret driven focal plane focussing, a coupled rangefinder, frame counter, dual format, double exposure prevention and a half decent lens, who'd have thought it was English? Mind you, it hasn't stretched to flash synchronisation or coated lenses which would feature on budget German cameras shortly after this Commando was made.
