For technical reasons, i.e. to stop it toppling over during the rotation, the Argus a was photographed with the lens barrel retracted. The Art Deco styling influence can be seen in the form of the moulded lines either side of the lens mount, the architecturally inspired half rounded ends and the now deteriorating rules printed on the hatch back. Whilst it has been tempting to tidy these up, so far we have resisted and have kept the camera as it arrived.
