Ensign Commando, results

The Commando is straightforward in use, the rangefinder accurate and the the lens sharp. This was exposed at 100th sec to ensure the sense of speed was maintained. Besides dismantling and rejuvenating old cameras, another favourite pastime is cycling. This is a Coventry Eagle cycle being forded at North Stoneham in Hampshire in August 1987. Three shots from the Commando reflecting its' military origins, below, were taken in August 2004 and depict Westland Lysander and a Supermarine Spitfire aeroplanes from World War 2. |

A Supermarine Spitfire VC. My favourite of all the preserved Spitfires, this example is owned by the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden and is flown regularly. |
